Trent Grocock was appointed the Vice President of Finance on June 10, 2019. In this role Trent directs the offices of the Controller, Treasury Services, Budget, Procurement Services, and Financial Planning and Analysis.
Trent has been employed at the University since 2001 and most recently served as the Associate Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis, a role in which he provided financial recommendations to University officers and Trustees, short-term and long-term strategic financial planning, developed executive level reporting, analyzed University assets, liabilities and contingency levels. Trent graduated from Notre Dame in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Finance.
Prior to joining the Finance team at Notre Dame, Trent was employed as the Assistant Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis for General Electric. He is a member of the WNIT board of directors and serves on the Rink Foundation Board, a local scholarship foundation that awards funds to deserving students.
Trent and his wife Lisa are the proud parents of four children including a Notre Dame graduate and a current student.
