If you have some time and talent to contribute in support of the Museum, here are just some of the many volunteer committees of the Friends of the Snite which you could join:

The Mailing Committee meets as needed at the Museum from 8 to 10 a.m. to process bulk mailings.

The Telephone Committee calls Friends members to remind them of upcoming museum events.

There are also committees formed each year to assist with the planning and implementation of special events such as:

• The annual Art & Architecture series, which tours area artists studios and homes of architectural interest.
  
  
• The Art History lecture series, which consists of four afternoon educational programs held at The Snite between September and May.
  
  
• High School Art Day, a day on campus for area high school students to explore first-hand college art classes and professional careers in art.
  
  
• The annual Painting Demonstration, by a local artist.
  
  
• and 2-3 Museum Day trips each year to other museums and arts organizations.
