My research is in communication system theory. I apply tools from network information theory and control to investigate theoretical issues regarding spread of information in wireless networks composed of many uncoordinated, power-limited, and interacting devices.

Research interests

I graduated from Politecnico di Torino in 2003, received an MS degree from UC Berkeley in 2006 and a PhD degree from UC San Diego in June 2010. I then spent a few months at UC San Diego as a post-doc researcher and joined Notre Dame as an Assistant Professor in January 2011.
