Ellen Wehle was associate poetry editor at Agni for three years, a job where “payoff for reading the slushpile was discovering exciting new writers, and helping their work see daylight.”  As a book reviewer, she continues to spread the word on little-known or overlooked writers. Her own poems have appeared in Slate, FIELD, The New Republic, Southern Poetry Review, Best New Poets, Runes, Poetry and Massachusetts Review.  Recipient of an Elizabeth George Foundation grant, she teaches creative writing at West Chester University.
