Important Info from Our First Two Meetings
Our first meeting for the 2008-2009 school year was held on September 17, 2008. The following topics were discussed:
Become an official member of NDASME by paying your $5 dues. Benefits of becoming an official member:
- The NDASME club will subsidize the cost of the local St. Joseph County ASME events
- Free transportation and admission to the auto show
- Reduced price of the upcoming club t-shirt
- Funding for your research projects or design competitions.
Pay your $5 dues to Joshua Bartrom in 301 Dillon Hall any Tuesday after 8:30 pm or just bring them to the next meeting if you didn't bring them to this first two.
Become a national ASME member or a national SAE member! Dues are $25 for students to join ASME and $10 for students to join SAE. Visit asme.org and sae.org to join and read about the benefits of becoming a national member.
- Note: You are encouraged to become a national member if you intend on listing your involvement with ASME or SAE on your resume.
