The University of Notre Dame Computer Club is a student chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery.
The Notre Dame Computer Club sponsors programming contests, guest speakers, and trips to conferences. We are currently planning a tour of the Notre Dame Center for Research Computing and considering the possibility of sponsoring a video game night. Check back here for updates on these pending events.
The Computer Club hosts programming contests each semester and sponsors teams to participate annually in the ACM East Central Regional programming contests.
The Club sponsors guest speakers who give presentations on current computer science topics such as biometric identification and distributed computing. Guest speakers this year have included Dr. Kevin Bowyer, Chair of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Notre Dame, and Dr. Douglas Thain, CSE Professor, Notre Dame.
