Art is a privileged way in which humanity learns to express itself, to innovate, and to create, reminding us of the uniqueness of the human spirit. The arts at Notre Dame reflect the diversity and cultures of a student body drawn from all 50 states and 100 countries. With more than 900 arts events annually and numerous programs and departments, the Notre Dame campus offers a variety of opportunities for students to share their expression.
The University is home to one of the nation’s premier art museums and is a world leader in new traditional architecture. Our students may choose from programs in architecture, visual and performing arts, and scholarly arts while enjoying numerous resources in our libraries and special collections.
